The 2021 Croatia Open Umag will be headlined by Albert Ramos-Vinolas and 2019 champion Dusan Lajovic.
The ATP 250 event will run from July 19th till July 25th and it will feature a plethora of clay-court specialists that will battle it out on the red clay on Umag. The defending champion is Dusan Lajovic who won the event the last time it was played in 2019. He will be the 2nd seed and he will face either Cuevas or Zapata Mirallas in the 2nd round.
Mager or Martinez await him further down the line which are very tough opponents on clay. Another tough opponent that awaits on his side of the draw is Richard Gasquet who played some very good tennis on clay in 2021.
The number one seed is Albert Ramos-Vinolas who already has a clay trophy to his name. The Spaniard won Estoril and he will look to add another trophy at the Croatia Open in Umag where he will face either a qualifier or WC Ajdukovic in the 2nd round.
His side of the draw also includes players like Munar, Krajinovic and Alcaraz which will make for several very interesting matchups that might even determine the player reaching the final from the top portion of the draw.
