The world number one Djokovic and the world number two Medvedev will face off in the Paris Masters final for the trophy.
It's been a very good event for both
Novak Djokovic and
Daniil Medvedev who were clinical in their matches so far reaching the final of the event. For Medvedev it's a bit of a habit as the Russian reached the final last year ultimately lifting the trophy over Zverev. This year he will need to defeat Djokovic if he wants to do that again but it will be tough.
Djokovic arrived in the city of love after not playing two months and the Serbian looked a bit shaky early. With each match, Djokovic looked better and better and despite losing a set against Hurkacz he played his best match to date at the event. The Serbian will need to up that level for tomorrow as Medvedev is playing impressive tennis.
The Russian dismantled Zverev 6-2 6-2 in the 2nd semifinal proving his form is peaking. For the Russian it was the best match he played since winning the US Open and it will be very tough for Djokovic if the Russian once again plays that way. Medvedev took advantage of a tired Zverev in the semifinal but he also showed everything that brought him the win against Djokovic in New York.
This match can go either way but for the Russian, it will all come down to his serve. If he can serve well and keep Djokovic away from any break points he will have a good chance to win. His serve won him the US Open and he will need it again. If the match goes the distance Medvedev might have an edge fitness-wise due to Djokovic not playing for a while. Either way don't miss it. The match starts at 15:00 CET.
