2022 Abierto Mexicano Telcel Acapulco Prize Money with $1,678,065 on offer

The Abierto Mexicano Telcel is an ATP 500 event running from February 21 - 26th with an overall prize pool of $1,678,065.
The tennis event in Acapulco is traditionally a very popular event amongst players but this year's event will be a particularly strong one. Daniil Medvedev is the top seed with other notable players in attendance including Zverev, Tsitsipas, Nadal, Berrettini and more. Last years champion was Alexander Zverev who defeated Tsitsipas in the final.
As an ATP 500 event, it has a bigger prize pool than normal events so the winner will get $314,455. The finalist will get $169,500 while players reaching the semifinals will get $89,985. The lower rounds yield less prize money and you can check out the full breakdown below.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
