After last year's successful edition, the
Serbia Open returns in 2022 with another strong field headlined by
Novak Djokovic and
Andrey Rublev.
The Serbian took part in the event last year however he saw himself beaten in the semifinals by Aslan Karatsev. The Russian failed to win the trophy as Matteo Berrettini proved better lifting the trophy. The Italian won't be back to defend his trophy though and we will crown a new champion in the final week of April.
The field is headlined by Djokovic who once again returns to the Serbian capital to delight some native fans. Besides Djokovic, we will also see Andrey Rublev who did not play last week. Aslan Karatasev will be back as well
Gael Monfils. Other top players include Khachanov, Garin, Fognini and Dominic Thiem who has been forgotten a bit in these past months.
