2022 Tennis Napoli Cup Draw including Carreno-Busta, Berrettini and Musetti

The 2022 Tennis Napoli Cup is the first time the event will be held as it was added this year to fill out the calendar.

The event is an ATP 250 event and it's going to cover for the hole left by the Chinese tennis events that have been cancelled this year as well. The event drew a pretty strong field despite Rublev pulling out after winning the Gijon Open on Sunday.

The top seed is Pablo Carreno Busta and he'll start off with a BYE and face either Fognini or Grenier in round two of the event. The second seed is native player Matteo Berrettini who made a late entry into the event after suffering an early exit at the Firenze Open.

Berrettini has a first-round BYE and ironically enough could face Roberto Carballes Baena in round two if the Spaniard wins in round one. They faced last week in Florence and Berrettini choked a 5-3 lead in the final set to lose the match.

There are several interesting matches in round one with native player Lorenzo Sonego facing Sebastian Baez in round one as well as Kecmanovic playing another Italian Flavio Cobolli. Check out the rest of the matches below.
