The 2022 edition of the Cincinnati Masters will be the 121st edition of the event and it will run from August 14th till August 21st with a
prize money total of $6,280,880.
The Cincinnati Masters is a longstanding tennis event that comes immediately after the Masters event in Canada and serves as the main practice ground for a lot of the top players ahead of the US Open. The 2022 edition won't be any different as the majority of top players will be back to compete for the points and prize money.
The winner will get rewarded with $970,020 while the losing player in the final will get $529,71. Semi-finalists will get $289,655 with the quarter-finals awarding $157,99. The lower rounds are giving less prize money and you can check that number out in the prize money breakdown below.
Alexander Zverev was last year's champion but it's highly unlikely he'll be back to defend his trophy.
