The draw has been confirmed ahead of the Hamburg European Open which will take place between 15-21 July 2024 and sees Alexander Zverev as top seed in Germany.

Despite having a knee issue which his brother Mischa Zverev said may take him out of the Olympic Games, he has still decided to play this week. He likely faces Facundo Diaz Acosta or Hugo Gaston after a qualifier in the first round. The German who reached the Roland Garros final stood out during the clay court season and will hope to do so again.

He will defend his Olympic Gold Medal in the coming weeks. Second seed is Holger Rune. He faces Fabian Marozsan in the first round with Sebastian Ofner likely in the second round. Sebastian Baez is third seed. He faces Dominik Koepfer. While Francisco Cerundolo faces wildcard Henri Squire. Other top names include Arthur Fils, Matteo Arnaldi, Zhizhen Zhang and Luciano Darderi.
