The road to the US Open will see tennis stars stop in Ohio, USA for the Cincinnati Open, which will host an exhibition event that will feature American tennis legends Andre Agassi and Andy Roddick battling it out in front of an appreciative crowd.
An ATP Masters 1000 event, the Cincinnati Open will run from August 11-19, 2024. However, there will be a special legends exhibition match on Saturday, August 10, which is sure to thrill the thousands of local fans eager to catch some action before the main draw kicks off.
Former Grand Slam champions to clash in competitive match
The exhibition match will feature some of America's biggest tennis stars, with former World No.1 and eight-time Grand Slam singles champion Andre Agassi set to team up with former World No.8 John Isner. The duo will take on another legendary teams, as 2003 US Open champion Andy Roddick will partner with 2004 Olympic silver medalist Mardy Fish in what is sure to be an entertaining match.
Hijinks are sure to ensure with Steffi Graf, 22-time singles Grand Slam champion and wife of Andre Agassi announced as an umpire and on-court commentator for the match. Graf will be joined by former WTA No.1 Lindsay Davenport, with both ladies certain to keep the men in check should things get out of hand.
