Albert Ramos replaces Bautista Agut on Spanish Davis Cup team

The Spanish Davis Cup team took a hit today with Roberto Bautista Agut suffering an abdominal injury that will prevent him from playing in the event and his replacement will be Albert Ramos.
Spain sent a very strong Davis Cup team for the Finals with the team spearheaded by veterans Bautista Agut and Carreno Busta who both have very long resumes on the tennis tour. They were paired up with doubles specialist Granollers and rising superstar Carlos Alcaraz in a serious bid to win the event once more.
Spearheaded by Nadal the Spanish Davis Cup team has had a lot of success in the past and they will a dangerous opponent for all the other nations at the Finals. Unfortunately, they will need to do it without Bautista Agut who suffered an abdominal injury in practice and will be unavailable to go. He will be replaced by another veteran Albert Ramos but his indoor hard courts' prowess is not very good.
They will need to rely on Alcaraz, even more now and the young rising start will certainly be an x-factor in many ties. The doubles could also prove very vital for their success so it should make things quite interesting. The title defense will begin against Ecuador on Friday after which they will play Russian, another favorite for the event.
