Carlos Alcaraz is set to begin his grass court season today at
Queen's Club Championships if the rain holds out in London, but against a change in opponent.
Alcaraz was set to face French rising star, Arthur Fils. It is a shame for Fils who defeated Hugo Grenier and Alexei Popyrin in qualifying to reach this point and would've been their first meeting.
But only a couple of hours before the match, the Frenchman announced that he won't be playing at Queen's Club this year withdrawing from the tournament.
Instead, it will be Arthur Rinderknech who will step up to face Alcaraz and aim to spring the shock.
It is another change for Alcaraz who also didn't arrive with usual coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero on a surface he admitted he wasn't the best at.
