"Always have a chance to beat Djokovic" says Alexander Zverev

Both Zverev and Djokovic are in Tokyo for the Olympic Games and we could potentially see a match between the two of them. While Zverev does not hold an impressive H2H record vs Djokovic he still believes he can beat him every time they play.

He said:

"You have to be able to do things that not many other players can do. You have to run with him and you have to be able to overpower him. I see myself as someone who always has a chance against him. If you play like him, you will lose. You have to play classes better than him."

For Zverev playing against Djokovic or any other of the tennis legends is something he thoroughly enjoys. It's pressure that he enjoys as he explained that all good players have such pressure. He said:

“I think the best players always have such pressure. It’s always very positive to feel something like this. Then you know that you are one of the best.”
