Andreescu and Stubbs praise Hurkacz for apologizing to Kokkinakis and his box after defeating him: “The cutest and nicest dude on tour”

Hubert Hurkacz is widely known as one of the nicest people on the tennis Tour and he proved it once more with a sweet gesture following his win over Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Kokkinakis and Hurkacz battled for a long time with the Polish player ending up as the winner in three sets. It didn't come easy and it featured a bit of lucky because Kokkinakis failed to finish off the match despite having 5 match points. The quality of the match caught the attention of several including Rennae Stubbs and Bianca Andreescu who said on Twitter:

"This match between @TKokkinakis and @HubertHurkacz is fantastic."

She further added:

"And Both such nice guys! I mean @HubertHurkacz looked at @TKokkinakis coach and said I’m sorry!!! Because he won and felt bad for them!!! I mean honestly! If he doesn’t win the award for nicest player on tour i don’t know who should."

Hurkacz indeed apoligzed to the box of Kokkinakis and that was caugh by Andreescu too. She wrote:

"The way Hubi apologized to Kokkinakis box aww."

Stubbs responded to her:

"Omg i can’t believe that either!!!! I mean if he’s not the cutest & nicest dude on tour, i don’t know who is!."
