"Step by step I will work my way forward": Thiem vows to make strong comeback after pondering tennis future

Dominic Thime hasn't had a very good year so far but the Austrian is certain that with enough practice he'll eventually get back to his best tennis.

Thiem has only won two matches so far and lost 10 of them which is quite a bit and his latest loss at the Miami Open certainly didn't make fans feel any better about it. Thiem found some form late last year indoors and it came after a spell of good results on clay which he hopes happens again because the season turns to clay now.

It's his best surface and he'll hope for some wins there. He made a promise to fans to work on his game recapping his experience in North America. He wrote on Instagram:

Dominic Thiem wrote on Instagram, adding a few pictures. At the moment, it's all about the small steps in my process. Step by step, I will work my way forward."
