Former world number one
Andy Murray and
Dan Evans will be once
again part of Great Britain’s team in the Davis Cup quarterfinal.
The British side is set to face Serbia in the last-eight clash in
the Spanish city of Malaga on November 23rd.
For the event, Great Britain has announced an unchanged team,
featuring the likes of Murray and Davies.
The team will also feature the likes of Cameron Norrie and Jack
Draper, who played a key role in helping the side beat the likes of Australia,
Switzerland and France in September.
Team captain Leon Smith was quoted in a report where he expressed
optimism about producing a good show in Malaga.
"We will go to Malaga with confidence and belief that
we can be successful," he said. "The quarter-final versus Serbia will
of course be a big challenge with a team led by world number one Novak Djokovic
but we have to believe we can win."
Murray is currently taking part in the Swiss Indoors event where
he has already booked his place in the last 16 after beating Germany’s Yannick Hanfmann
with a score of 7-5, 6-4.
On the other hand,
Evans is set to face off against American Frances Tiafoe in the round of 32 clash at
the Vienna Open.
