Andy Murray should end his career 'when he decides it's time' as Billie Jean King latest to rally around former World No.1

A lot of speculation has centred around Andy Murray and the ending point of his great career as he continues to struggle and not claim any wins. He has registered four losses and is yet to win a single match in 2024. Billie Jean King though is the latest to show the former World No.1 support.
Murray's latest defeat came at the hands of Tomas Machac in the opening round of the Open 13 Provence in Marseille. He has lost 9 out of 10 matches since the Zhuhai Tennis Championships and hasn't looked the same since his heartbreaking loss to Stefanos Tsitsipas at Wimbledon.

Concerns have stemmed from an article written by BBC Scotland sports broadcaster, Kheredine Idessane who wrote that he has been undergoing a steady decline and when does he damage his legacy. Andy Murray hit back and vowed to keep fighting and tennis legends including Andy Roddick, Martina Navratilova and Rennae Stubbs all agreed that he should leave the sport on his own terms and not when someone else wants him to.
Billie Jean King was the latest and believes he has the right to call time on his career when he sees fit and that he deserves to do what he wants at this point. "When should @andy_murray decide to end his incredible career? When he decides it's time," she wrote on X.
"Andy Murray loves tennis, and should do what he wants, when he wants to do it," she said about the 36-year-old.
