Andy Murray won his second match at the Aix Challenger however this one nearly didn't happen as Murray threw away the win in the second set only to escape in three 6-4 5-7 6-3.
Murray played a really solid match and ultimately got the win he deserved though it came after three sets. The British player played really well in the first set to take it 6-4. He complicated things late in that one as he got broken when he served for the set but then he broke once more to take it anyways.
The second set featured something similar because Murray once again was up for much of it holding a 5-3 lead when he stepped out to serve out the match. He was up 40-15 with two match points but threw away both of them losing the game by losing 4 points in a row. He then wasted two more match points on the serve of Lokoli with the score being 5-5 after that.
He then lost his serve once more and Lokoli forced the decider 7-5. It was a sobering result for Murray who didn't allow any break points in the final set forcing a break point chance late which he converted for the 5-3 lead. He closed it out without problems this time around.
