Andy Murray will try out a new coach after parting ways with Jan De Witt after an unsuccessful stay in Australia.
Murray opted to work with De Witt ahead of the Australian summer but the relationship did not prove so fruitful as Murray had hoped. He started off well but his defeat to Taro Daniel in Melbourne left him with many doubts and his relationships soured with his coach resulting in the parting of ways. Ahead of Rotterdam, he will try out a new coach.
It's going to be Daniel Vallverdu who is the current coach of Stan Wawrinka. Murray and Vallverdu will work together in Rotterdam and for a few weeks as the Swiss player is currently out of action after multiple injuries. Wawrinka is not parting ways with his coach but rather loaning him out to Murray who will use him until Wawrinka comes back to tour.
