The fourth day of action at the ATP 250
Antalya Open provides four quarter-final encounters, with
David Goffin,
Matteo Berrettini and
Alex de Minaur as the favorites to reach the semis.
The 2nd seed David Goffin kicks off the Centre court action against Stefano Travaglia, facing the Italian for the first time. Goffin has played well so far, and he should reach the semis if he shows his best tennis, eager to make a fresh start following a mediocre season behind us. David lost only two games against Nicola Kuhn in the second round, hoping for more of the same in today's clash.
Matteo Berrettini and Alexander Bublik play against each other for the first time in what should be an entertaining clash of two aggressive hitters. Both players passed the second round with no problems against the lower-ranked rivals, and this could be the match of the day if they both bring their best tennis.
Jeremy Chardy and
Jan-Lennard Struff will face for the sixth time, and the German enters the battle as the fresher rival. Jan-Lennard didn't have to play on Sunday, while Jeremy stayed on the court for almost three hours against Fabio Fognini, prevailing in three tie breaks.
Antalya Open 2021 Sunday's Schedule of Play:
09:00 Jeremy Chardy vs Jan-Lennard Struff
09:00 Stefano Travaglia vs David Goffin
10:30 Matteo Berrettini vs Alexander Bublik
