Antalya Open 2021 Thursday's Schedule of play with David Goffin

On Thursday, the main draw of the 2021 Antalya Open will kick-off as we'll also see the second-seeded David Goffin.

Although the ATP Tour starts only with two ATP 250 events, and so we can't expect line-up as strong as at the WTA tournament in Abu Dhabi, there will be still a lot to watch during the opening week of the 2021 season.

Matteo Berrettini and David Goffin are definitely the biggest stars of the 2021 Antalya Open. And the fans in front of the TV screens will be lucky to see the second-seeded Belgian already during the first day of the main-draw action in Turkey.

On Thursday, there will be 6 matches from the main draw played, starting with Nikoloz Basilashvili against Andrea Arnaboldi at 9:30. Basilashvili ended the 2020 season with an 11-match losing streak and he will try to break this streak in 2021.

Also, Alexander Bublik will return to the tennis courts. The Kazakh will take on Salvatore Caruso who had a good finish of the 2020 season. The second-seeded David Goffin will face one of the toughest possible first-round opponents.

The Belgian will take on Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the first round. The two met already 5 times with Goffin winning all of the matches. In the last two matches of the day, Miomir Kecmanovic will take on Stefano Travaglia and Emil Ruusuvuori will play against Jiri Vesely.
