The action from Buenos Aires is coming towards its conclusion with the semi-finals taking place at the Argentina Open later this evening.
The first semi-final will see Casper Ruud taking on Juan Ignacio Londero.
Yesterday both played in the Quarter-Finals; for Ruud he remained flawless in terms of not losing a set defeating Dusan Lajovic 7-5, 6-1.
Facing Londero though will be a different task. He defeated Guido Pella 6-4, 7-6 in an all Argentinian battle; he claimed the upset to defeat the second seed successfully and with him likely having the crowd on his side, will Ruud buckle or will he continue his run?
Then it is Diego Schwartzman who is through to his second semi-final in Argentina in as many weeks. The number one seed did not have it easy though; coming through a gruelling battle against Pablo Cuevas 5-7, 7-6, 7-5 to confirm his place. The question will be how much does he have left in the tank?
Next up will be Pedro Sousa, the Portuguese World No.145 who defeated Thiago Monteiro 7-6, 6-4 and despite the disparity in the rankings, he will likely be more fresher and could spring a shock.
