The Astana Open 2020 is down to its last two players and the Final on Sunday will determine who will be crowned.
The final of the Astana open is today and it will start at 11:00. While it's not a high-profile final as the finalists are Mannarino and Millman it's still an interesting matchup. Both players are in the top 50 of the world and both are capable of very good tennis on hard courts. This week they were the two best players and it's no wonder they are in the final. Millman reached the final with three strong victories and in the last two, he had to go in three sets. He showed mental strength in matches where he was down and he came back to win them. His style of plays suits this surface very well and he will look to win the title in final.
Mannarino has played even better tennis in Nur-Sultan as his three victories came in straight sets and against very strong opposition. He demonstrated his good form even in earlier events such as the tennis event held in Cologne so his result is no surprise. Neither of these players gets many chances to compete for a title so they will cherish this opportunity.
The H2H is in favour of Millman as they played two matches so far and both of these matches were won by the Australian. They have been fairly recent matches as well with one coming this year in August. Both of the matches went in three sets which indicates that small things made the difference. Despite all of that the odds favour Mannarino quite heavily as his form demonstrated has been great for a long time and he usually does very well indoors.
