Taylor Fritz takes a minute to think during the ATP Finals.
The serve of Taylor Fritz was the most potent on tour in 2025 with the American taking top spot in the ace leaders. A spot previously held by Alexander Zverev who is anything but top spot again.
Fritz hit 867 to lead by some distance and this was across 74 matches over the year. Reilly Opelka was second with 790 but on average was the tour leader given he hit 790 over only 49 matches having missed most of the past 18 months due to injury.
Felix Auger-Aliassime is next up marginally and played the same amount of matches as Fritz having played the ATP Finals so in reality is the next best sample size over the course of a whole season. The Canadian hit 783 over the course of 74 matches ahead of Jakub Mensik and Alexander Bublik who over 50 and 58 matches hit 679 and 674 respectively.

Serve bot but not top server

Surprisingly a so-called Serve Bot renowned for his serve in Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard is only seventh with Opelka more of an accurate reflection of that robotic metronomic serve that is nearly untouchable when on form that also John Isner and Nick Kyrgios have made their own too and have also received the moniker whether they enjoy it or not.
He is behind Ben Shelton who also uses his serve as a huge weapon. Shelton sits on 607 over 64 matches but perhaps it is not a fair reflection on Mpetshi Perricard who played less matches even than Opelka.
Mpetshi Perricard sits on 596 matches over 44 matches. Alexander Zverev who was the previous leader. He hit 577 over 80 matches. He has played the most matches in the top 10 with 80 in all. Arthur Rinderknech and Daniil Medvedev round out the top 10. The Frenchman with 540 and the Russian is on 534.
In terms of the top names, Carlos Alcaraz is just in the top 15 in 14th spot having hit 463 over 80 matches. Tallon Griekspoor rounds out the top 15. While the other top names in Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner sit just inside the top 20.
Djokovic hit 413 over 50 matches this season. Quentin Halys just ahead of Djokovic has hit 413 over 36 matches so reflects one of the best sample sizes of any player over a least amount of games. Jannik Sinner sits in 19th spot on 405 over the course of 64 matches while Karen Khachanov rounds out the top 20 with 391 over 56 matches.
Other top names further down include Jack Draper who is on 325 over 39 matches. Casper Ruud is on 313 over the course of 53 matches. While Lorenzo Musetti and Alex de Minaur who managed to qualify also for the Year End Finals sit in 39th and 40th respectively.
Some of these players though are not renowned for their serving capabilities so in reality some aren't a huge surprise but shows the potency in particular of Taylor Fritz serve to his overall game.
