After another week of competition, following the conclusion of the ABN AMRO Open and Dallas Open, Carlos Alcaraz has climbed the ATP Race standings, breaking into the podium for the first time this year. The ATP Finals Race is still led by Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner.
Dallas champion Denis Shapovalov secured a spot in the top 10 for points earned in 2025, while Casper Ruud and Alex de Minaur also made significant gains after finishing as runners-up in their respective tournaments.
Unlike the official ATP Rankings, which account for the past 52 weeks, the ATP Race only considers points earned in 2025. By the end of the season, the top eight players will qualify for the ATP Finals.
Carlos Alcaraz claimed his first indoor hardcourt title by defeating De Minaur in the Rotterdam final. The four-time Grand Slam champion now has 900 points, moving up to third place, behind Jannik Sinner (2,000) and Alexander Zverev (1,355).
Novak Djokovic sits in fourth place with 850 points after reaching the Australian Open semifinals and the Brisbane International quarterfinals. Fifth place belongs to American Ben Shelton (850), who made the semifinals in Australia and had a strong week at the Dallas Open before being upset by Jaume Munar.
Other notable movers include the finalists in Dallas and Rotterdam. Alex de Minaur now holds 785 points, placing him sixth, while Casper Ruud moves up to 12th with 465 points. Additionally, two Canadians are now inside the top 10: Felix Auger-Aliassime in eighth place (605) and Denis Shapovalov in ninth (575).
