ATP Ranking Update: Djokovic extends the lead, Murray moves by 214 places

Novak Djokovic won the title at the Japan Open in Tokyo and earned 500 points. He increased the lead over Rafael Nadal, who is already over 1000 points behind him. In the ranking also the finalsit from Tokyo John Millman improved, who moved by 22 places to 58th position.

Dominic Thiem closed a gap to Daniil Medvedev after the triumph in Beijing to only 50 points. The finalist Stefanos Tsistsipas also scored points in the ranking, which helped him mainly in the ATP Race ranking.

Andy Murray, who played the quarter-finals in Beijing, was clearly the biggest mover in the ranking. Murray has moved by 214 places already to 289th position.
