Working hard to make the best schedule in these troubled times, the ATP released the updated calendar that includes the opening three months of the season.
From January 5, there will be 15 ATP tournaments and the ATP Cup, highlighted by the Australian Open and Miami Open, that should start from March 22. After Antalya and Delray Beach, the players will travel to Melbourne for two-week quarantine, followed by two ATP 250 tournaments and the ATP Cup in the first week of February, just before the season's first Major.
After the Australian Open, the clay-courters will embrace the South American swing in Cordoba, Buenos Aires and Santiago. On the other hand, those who prefer faster indoor surface will find their spot in Montpellier, Rotterdam and Marseille. Instead of January, Doha takes place in March, just ahead of Acapulco and Dubai, between March 13-20. Indian Wells will not take place in March for the second straight season, hoping to secure its spot in the calendar later in the season.
