After winning their first Davis Cup title in 2022, Canada will once again lean on Felix Auger-Aliassime in their bid to recapture national glory at the 2024 edition of the tournament.

Canada overcame Australia two years ago to win it's maiden Davis Cup trophy, with Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov securing wins over Thanasi Kokkinakis and Alex De Minaur respectively in the singles rubber. This was enough to give the Canadian's an unassailable 2-0 lead, ensuring they would leave Malaga, Spain with the title.

Auger-Aliassime returns, alongside a resurgent Raonic

The former World No.6 has been tasked to lead Canada to glory once again. Auger-Aliassime will lead his compatriots at the Davis Cup Finals Group stage, which is slated to run from September 10-15 in Manchester, Great Britain. The Montreal native will be joined by Shapovalov, who played an instrumental role in their victory two years ago.

Former Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic has also been selected to the team. The 33-year old had been dealing with injuries over the last few years but is slowly regaining his form. Raonic's 2024 season has seen him reach the quarterfinals in Rotterdam, in addition to making the final eight in S-Hertogenbosch earlier this summer.

Team Canada will also feature veteran Vasek Pospisil, and doubles specialist Gabriel Diallo. Canada has been placed in Group D alongside Finland, Argentina and host nation Great Britain.
