Australia defeated Canada at the 2020 ATP Cup and they remain unbeaten in Group F, played in Brisbane.

It was another flawless victory at the ATP Cup for the team of Australia when John Millman and Alex De Minaur secured the victory already after the singles matches.
Nick Kyrgios was supposed to start against Felix Auger-Aliassime in the first match in Brisbane. But after Kyrgios pulled out, Millman had to replace him. And he managed the job perfectly. Millman defeated Auger-Aliassime 6-4, 6-2 after 103 minutes to give Australia 1-0 lead against Canada.
World number 18 Alex De Minaur faced no.15 Denis Shapovalov in a highly-anticipated matchup. Two youngsters battled for the glory of their country for more than 3 hours. Shapovalov started the first set with an 8-6 victory in a tie-break. But supported by the home crowd, De Minaur did not give up. The Aussie defeated Shapovalov in the second and third set to secure another victory for Australia already after 2 matches.
In doubles, Guccione & Peers faced Auger-Aliassime & Shamasdin. The Australian duo lost the first set 3-6, but they were successful in the tie-break in the second set to level the score. In the super tie-break in the third set, Aussies succeeded again and they lead the Group F with the perfect 6-0 score.
