Australian Open men's doubles are in full swing and today featured 8 matches as we wrapped up the 2nd round and prepare for the 3rd

The 2nd round of the Australian Open men's doubles wrapped up today and as we know all the pairings of the 3rd round there will be several high profile names missing. The number 5 seed Mektic and Koolhof were eliminated in today's match against hometown hopefull Duckworth and Polmans. The Australian duo managed the upset in front of their own home crowd carried by their cheering
Another high profile duo Kubot / Melo the number 2 seeds failed to advance past the 2nd round. They were defeated by Gonzalez / Skupski in straight sets 7-5 7-6(4) in what is probably the biggest upset so far in the double's section of the tournament.
