Boris Becker has integrated himself well into daily prison life according to his lawyer who spoke with the German paper Bild.
The legendary player who won multiple grand slams in his career was found guilty of four offences committed in 2017. He was sentenced to two and half years in prison spending his time in HM Prison Huntercombe where he was transferred in May.
Speaking to Bild, his lawyer Oliver Moser said:
“Our client, Boris Becker, continues to do well under the circumstances and he has constructively integrated himself into daily prison life. He is able to telephone whenever he wants and to communicate with the outside world. Any further details about his prison stay are subject to protected personal privacy laws.”
The paper further detailed that Becker is popular among inmates and teaches them about fitness, nutrition, medication, yoga and other things.
