The Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati draw gave us a closer look at some of the projected quarterfinals.
The Western & Southern Open begins tomorrow with the first round and with an abundance of matches. Djokovic, Federer and Nadal won't play in this event once again but that does not mean there won't be an abundance of great matches. Matteo Berrettini and
Alexander Zverev make their return to tennis so that makes this draw even better.
Looking at the draw the event tweeted out some of the projected men's quarterfinals. The most fascinating one is a quarterfinal between Berrettini and Tsitsipas. The duo last played in Rome and Tsitsipas was able to win that match. Top seed
Daniil Medvedev is projected to face off against Carreno Busta in the quarterfinal.
The Spaniard performs rather well on North American hard courts so it could be a good one.
Andrey Rublev should face
Denis Shapovalov in the quarters as well but both of them will need to reach the quarters first which did not happen in Toronto. The final one should be between Ruud and Zverev which would be their first match.
