Carlos Alcaraz is preparing for a huge end to what has been a magical 2025 campaign. Before he steps back on court, he has once again changed his hairstyle, prolonging his blonde obsession.
He will be boasting this new cut at the upcoming Paris Masters, the final Masters 1000 event of the year before he will travers to Turin to compete in his third consecutive ATP Finals, looking to bounce back from a disappointing group stage exit in last year's edition. He will then represent his country in the Davis Cup Finals, looking to end the year in fine fashion.
In these competitions, he is likely to once more come up against his arch-rival Jannik Sinner, with the pair being drawn into many battles throughout 2025, with Sinner recently stealing the talking rights after defeating the Spaniard in the luxurious Six Kings Slam, where the 24-year-old won an incredible $6 million. If they are to meet once more, Alcaraz will be hoping to get back on track and continue his positive form over Sinner, and he will be doing it with another different hairstyle.

Alcaraz changes hair once more

Before beginning his US Open title charge, the tennis world was caught by shock after Alcaraz stepped onto the court without one thing: his hair. After a barber malfunction when his older brother, Alvaro, cut it too short, with the only way of fixing it being cutting it all off. It certainly caught the eye of many in the tennis scene, who were eager to see if he could get back at Sinner for that Wimbledon final defeat.
He would go on to take the headlines in Flushing Meadows by winning the title, halting Sinner's dominant run in Grand Slams on hardcourt surfaces and triumphing in the US Open for the first time since 2022. With talk of his hair intertwining with this success, Alcaraz said that he would change his hair once more if he claimed the title.
He stuck to his word, and a few days later went blonde. He boasted this new style in the Laver Cup, but it would not be a successful debut for the hairstyle as Team Europe lost their title after Team World made a fine comeback after a slow first day. He would find success in the Japan Open, overcoming a huge ankle scare before blitzing his way towards the title, acting vengeance on Taylor Fritz in the final after the American got the better of him in San Francisco. He tactically skipped the Shanghai Masters before heading to Riyadh to attempt and go one better in the Six Kings Slam, but once more being beat at the last hurdle against Sinner.
Now back at home in Murica, Alcaraz is getting a rare chance to rest and reset in what is a packed calendar. With some big events coming up, Alcaraz was looking to freshen up his look. He completed this by going even bolder with his hairstyle, taking the next step from blonde to a platinum colour, shortening his hair once more and filling in the dark hairs overpowering what was once a full head of blonde hair. This act was done by his reliable personal barber Victor Martinez. On Instagram, Martinez made a Dragon Ball Z reference, as he wrote: "Super Saiyan evolved again."
While the post accumulating over 150,000 likes and counting, it has caught the attention once again of many fans, who are undoubtedly split on this new hairstyle now being boasted by the world number one.
