Boris Becker gets sports science teaching job in prison

Boris Becker got a new job in prison, as a sports science teacher and it prompted several fellow prisoners to complain of preferential treatment.

One year ago Boris Becker was a free man and he followed and worked at Wimbledon. Now, he's a prisoner serving time in a UK prison with a later transfer to Germany on the schedule itself. To pass the time behind bars, Becker found a job as a PE assistant teacher where he lectures other inmates about the benefits of exercise as part of a sports science class.

That did not sit well with a number of other prisoners as many complained about favouritism. An insider for the Sun said:

"You would normally serve years before getting a job as a classroom assistant as it is seen as a privilege. But Becker has been given the job within weeks of being sentenced. There is a lot of resentment about it and the families of some prisoners have written letters of complaint."

Reports also suggest that Becker was delighted to watch Djokovic lift his 7th Wimbledon trophy as the two worked together for a while.
