Brandon Nakashima defeats Jack Draper for the Next Gen ATP Finals final

Jack Draper was unable to secure the final in Milan as he was beaten by Brandon Nakashima 3-1 in sets.

The American had a tremendous final set comeback to take the match and it was an annoying situation for Draper who was more than displeased about the result. Nakashima found himself playing much better after dropping his first match in Milan and this one was a continuation of that.

He took the first set in the tiebreak 8-4 after wasting a couple of break points in the set. He was completely outplayed by Draper in the second set as the British player found his stroke and blasted Nakashima away 4-1.

The 3rd set was a balanced one with neither having any issues early on but Draper complicated his life tremendously by throwing away a 40-15 lead down 2-3. He gave Nakashima a deuce and the decider point rule helped him break and get the set.

The final set was another close one where both saved break point before the tiebreak. In the tiebreak, Draper was up 5-2 but dropped 5 points in a row to lose the match.
