"Carlos Alcaraz is my idol" says Thanasi Kokkinakis

Carlos Alcaraz is gathering fans at a rapid rate mostly due to his unbelievable tennis as of the late and rather entertaining style of play.

One fan of his game is Thanasi Kokkinakis who is enjoying a career year himself after battling injuries for several years. The Australian took to Twitter to announce it to the whole world simply writing:

"Carlos Alcaraz is my idol"

Kokkinakis wrote that after the Spaniard produced another stunning display to take down Hubert Hurkacz who looked almost unbeatable in the past two years in Miami. His style of play got him a lot of fans in Miami as well which he was super excited about:

"I think that I'm playing in Spain. It's unbelievable. The energy that they push to me, it was crazy. I think without them it would not be possible to get into the semi-finals today."
