Carlos Alcaraz made a big step in his off-court life by passing the driving test and getting his driver's license.
Carlos Alcaraz is a known commodity in tennis yet many forget he is still a teenager. The Spanish player wowed many on tour with his brave and superb play flashing quite a bit of it at the Australian Open. He is yet to make his return to tennis but while not playing, Alcaraz took a major step in his personal life. He posted on his social media that he passed the driving test which will allow him to get his license.
The Murcia native juggled his time on Tour with the studies needed to obtain his licence. Using down time at tournaments to revise the traffic regulations and study the theory in-depth, Alcaraz has taken full advantage of his recent 18th birthday to reach the happy milestone.
He captioned the post with:
"Goal accomplished, I'm already one more on the road"
“You almost won a Grand Slam before getting your driving licence! Now, you can do the former,” joked Alex Corretja in his post. “Great!” said the Australian Alex de Mianur, another of the Tour’s young guns.
