Carlos Alcaraz played his best match on the grass yet and he defeat Oscar Otte in straight sets to move on to round four 6-3 6-1 6-2.
This was a very good display from Carlos Alcaraz, possibly even his best on grass ever as he cruised past a very in-form player in Otte. The German plays a very interesting style that is built around his aggressive play where he doesn't think too much. Today was a solid effort from him, certainly not his best but it was impossible to do with the way Alcaraz was playing.
He was spectacular. The serving was on point, the returning was spectacular and even Otte, who plays very well from the baseline, was not able to handle that much pressure from Alcaraz. The opening set was won by Alcaraz with 6-3. The 2nd set was a masterclass of tennis with the Spaniard hitting 16 winners to only one unforced error.
The final was another one where Alcaraz proved better. There is simply not much to add here, there was a solid gap in the levels of these players today and the Spaniard moves on to round 4 after a deserved win. There is not much you can add there. 37 winners to only 8 unforced errors, that's quite brutal.
