- Sports organizations are trying hard to ignore the growing heat/humidity issues for athletes. WTA especially is avoiding near future extreme heat issues. Scheduled timeouts is a band-aid on what will be an unhealthy result... possibly this is the year damage will occur?

- The women players are always demanding money, yet they do not put out the same work ethics as the men. They do more complaining about the job, if anything . Unlike the ATP, there is no concrete top 10 in the WTA. It is rare that number 1 and 2 are in the final of any slam. On several occasions, a qualifier has reached the final. That should never happen in any sport. That only proves what there is no love for the game. They want additional money, but fail to sell out a stadium.
