Otte seals important win over Kotov, Carreno-Busta next at Madrid Open

Oscar Otte is the latest German player through to the second round at the 2023 Madrid Open after seeing off Pavel Kotov.
Otte saw off Kotov 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 who came through qualifying. He will now face off against Pablo Carreno-Busta.
This is an important win after he dropped out of the top 100 at the start of the week so will see him head back up the ATP Rankings after this tournament.
Yannick Hanfmann also won through earlier today meaning there were multiple German winners on Wednesday.
