Carlos Alcaraz has been named the winner o the OPPO Breakthrough award at Wimbledon which is being awarded to the player who inspired the most at this year's Wimbledon.
Alcaraz had a solid run at Wimbledon winning a couple of nail-bitters en route to the next-gen showdown against Jannik Sinner. The Italian proved better this time around but Alcaraz nonetheless showcased some of the talents that made him a breakthrough star this year.

Another one was Tatjana Maria who made her best run at Wimbledon ever reaching the semifinal and losing to Ons Jabeur. The final nominee was Harmony Tan who beat Serena Williams at the start of her run which saw her win a couple of more matches.
