The
Davis Cup Finals are close and closer and Team Spain has announced its team for the competition and it will be a very good one.
The Spanish Davis Cup will obviously be without Rafael Nadal who has led them to glory before but even without Nadal, the team is a very good one. At the forefront, we have Olympic medallist
Pablo Carreno Busta who will lead the team in the Davis Cup Finals. Besides Busta, we will also see
Roberto Bautista Agut who is another good player.
Agut has not played smashing tennis lately but the Spaniard is always dangerous with his solid overall play that rarely disappointing or drops below average. Besides them, we will see doubles specialist Marcel Granollers who will be responsible for winning doubles points. Feliciano Lopez is another savvy veteran who found his place on the roster and he will be a very stabilizing presence for the younger guys.
And if that was not enough we will also see up and comer
Carlos Alcaraz wearing the Spanish red. Alcaraz could be the x-factor for this team who will need someone to bring that aggressive playstyle that Nadal famously employed.
