Christopher Eubanks is an ATP title winner with the American joining Frances Tiafoe in the winners' circle from the USA during the grass court season.
Also continuing his rise with Eubanks being one of the under the radar stories at Miami earlier this year back home.
He has grinded this grass court season playing in multiple tournaments through qualifying from Surbiton to Halle to Stuttgart and now has his reward.
He will also move up to a career high of 43rd after this week shooting up 34 spots in the ATP Rankings so is less likely to have to play qualifying going forward meaning in the end it was all worth it.
This after he saved match points earlier on against Lloyd Harris. He left no doubt though against a grass court specialist in Adrian Mannarino.
It was a 6-1, 6-4 win as he did not face a break point throughout the whole tie. it lasted just over an hour after the gruelling tie on Friday against Harris in a complete 360.
He will now head to Wimbledon full of confidence and was in shock post match.
"To come into my first Wimbledon with my first ATP title is something that if you had told me when I showed up last Thursday that it would happen, I probably wouldn't have believed you," said the American. "But here I am standing here today and I'm looking forward to getting out there on Tuesday."
"It means the world. It just means the world, man," Eubanks also said post-match.
"It means a lot of the hard work I've been putting in, the ups and downs throughout my career, it all is coming together now at this point in my career. It's just a testament to the hard work. Now I just want to keep working even harder to feel this feeling even more."
