Novak Djokovic continues in his stunning journey through men's draw at the 2020 Australian Open when he defeated also Roger Federer.
Djokovic seems to be unstoppable this year.
He lost a set only to Struff in the first round and from that moment none of the players were able to take a set away from the Serbian. Neither was 20-time Grand Slam champion, Roger Federer.
The Swiss had a great start into the match when he led already 4-1 and 40-0. However, Djokovic was able to turn the set when he decided it in a tie-break winning 7-1. World number 2 only improved his performance during the match.
In the second set, he missed the first 3 break opportunities. But in the 10th game, he converted his 4th breakpoint to win the second set 6-4 and gain a massive advantage in the match.
In the 3rd set, Djokovic continued in a great performance, hitting 6 aces and winning a total of 78% of points after the first service. His opponent was not able to keep within distance with Djokovic who broke Federer's serve in the 6th game. Then the Serbian confirmed his 2 service games to win the set 6-3. In the final, Djokovic will meet the winner of the match between Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev.
