Novak Djokovic faced a familiar opponent in Kevin Anderson for the Wimbledon 3rd round and the Serbian handled him fairly well.

Novak Djokovic faced a tricky opponent in Kevin Anderson but he handled him very well to move on. Anderson does not like to play good returners like Djokovic and Serbian possess the game to frustrate Anderson by moving him around the court. It worked once more for Djokovic as Anderson did not serve good enough to neutralize that.

Djokovic won the first set with 6-3 using the only break point he faced. Anderson did not hit many aces nor did he get many free points but he was able to limit Djokovic to only one break. A similar thing happened in the 2nd set with Djokovic once more wining the set with 6-3.

The difference was that he broke Anderson twice in that set and kept his service points even shorter. Djokovic awaited his chance in the 3rd set and it came late in the set at 4-3. Djokovic broke Anderson and from there it was an easy cruise o the finish line.
