Novak Djokovic will be playing doubles at the Adelaide tennis event which he'll attend before the Australian Open giving fans a chance to see him in doubles action.
Djokovic has never played much doubles tennis but he's been experimenting with it lately, particularly when he hasn't played for a while. It's a good light workout for him and a way to get himself used to playing tennis again which he'll need as the Australian Open inches closer. There isn't much time to prepare for the event so he'll enjoy getting some more playing time.
Djokovic entered the doubles draw with longtime friend Vasek Pospisil joining a field of several prominent players. Besides them, we'll also see Russian combo Khachanov/Rublev competing as well as an interesting pairing between Jannik Sinner and Jack Draper. The event will run from January 1st till January 8th.
