“I thought the chemistry was great”: Andreescu pleased with opening doubles effort with Kyrgios at World Tennis League

Bianca Andreescu kicked off her 2023 campaign with a win in doubles at the World Tennis League in Dubai as she partnered Nick Kyrgios.

It was the first match of the new campaign for Andreescu and she looked very comfortable on the court. The match was a doubles match as she paired Nick Kyrgios in the straight-sets victory over Rune and Bouchard. They had a lot of fun and it's thanks to a really strong chemistry they had from the start:

"I thought the chemistry was great right from the start. We’re both pretty outgoing people so I thought that we were going to bring great energy and we played very well. I think we both have great hands. I think he’s rubbing off on me a little bit on the serve and on the volleys, so hopefully we can keep it going."

Andreescu has high hopes of this year and she's shown flashes last year that highlight her tremendous talent. Hopefully, she stays healthy enough to play consistently because she needs it.
