Draw 2022 Rio Open including Berrettini, Ruud and Alcaraz

The 2022 Rio Open is an ATP 250 event running from February 14th till the 20th with Matteo Berrettini headlining the field.

This year's edition of the Rio Open features a very strong field of players headlined by longtime top 10 player Matteo Berrettini. Besides Berrettini, we also have clay-court specialist Casper Ruud who enjoys playing on the surface and has accumulated a few titles on it so far. We will also see Schwartzman, last year's champion Garin and Carlos Alcaraz.

Berrettini as the top seed will have a 1st round BYE which is a novelty at this event. In the 2nd round, he might face native Thiago Monteiro. Casper Ruud has a tricky draw because in the 2nd round he might face Benoit Paire or Francisco Cerundolo. Christian Garin as the defending champion doesn't have a 1st round BYE and he will play Federico Coria.

Carlos Alcaraz is also playing in Rio and he will face Jaume Munar in the first round. Delbonis will probably wait in round 2 so a very tough draw for the youngster.
