Elena Rybakina will be contesting the
Miami Open semi-final after beating
Martina Trevisan in two sets 6-3 6-0 showcasing her dominant form.
It's looking very much like Elena Rybakina is the most dominant tennis player right now as she showed off form in the win over Trevisan. It was a match that featured the Italian providing a good effort early on in the match but once Rybakina found her rhythm she was able to quickly enforce her dominant ball-striking ability.
The first set ended 6-3 in her favour while the second set was a convincing bagel. There is not much to add in general. It was just a huge difference in talent and power. Rybakina was hitting the ball too hard for Trevisan to send it back. Most rallies finished on her own terms and the serve really didn't help Trevisan.
Ten aces in total for Rybakina and a very heavy presence with the return. She won more than 50 % of points both on the first serve and second serve of Trevisan. It doesn't get much more dominant than that.
