The 2025 ATP season will be in full swing by the time the Open Sud de France kicks off, as the post-Grand Slam event is scheduled to run from January 27-February 02, 2025.
An ATP 250 event, the Open Occitanie, or Open Sud de France, takes place at the conclusion of the Australian Open. Hosted in Montpellier, France, the tournament was conceived in 2010 and has seen several home winners, including French veterans Gael Monfils and Richard Gasquet.
As ATP stars return from the Happy Slam in Melbourne, several will travel to France to resume their season in earnest. Alexander Bublik won the 2024 edition of the Open Sud de France, and the Kazakh star will be hoping to repeat at this year's event. Joining Bublik are top-seeded American Sebastian Korda, and Canadian ace Felix Auger-Aliassime.
The local fans will be thrilled to have Gael Monfils back for another edition, as the charismatic Frenchman has won the trophy on three occasions. Compatriot Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard is also set to compete in front of his home crowd, alongside Italians Flavio Cobolli and Lorenzo Sonego. Dutch star Tallon Griekspoor is scheduled to participate, along with Belgian David Goffin. Below is the list of entrants.
