The ATP Tour will make it's return to China, as tennis stars descend upon the city of Hangzhou for the 2024 Hangzhou Open, scheduled to run from September 18-24, 2024.
An ATP 250 event, the Hangzhou Open will be making it's debut on the ATP Calendar this year. The tournament will feature a 28 player singles field and a 16-team doubles draw. The city of Hangzhou, which has a population of nearly 13 million, is 200 kilometers from Shanghai.
Former World No.5 Andrey Rublev will be the top seed at the event, as the Russian looks to finish the final quarter of the season on a strong note. Rublev will be joined by compatriot Karen Khachanov and Danish star Holger Rune.
Sebastian Korda will lead the American contingent to Hangzhou, alongside countrymen Brandon Nakashima and Alex Michelsen. Former Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini is scheduled to appear the the event, and he will be joined by local favorite Zhizhen Zhang, who is sure to deliver in front of his home crowd.
