Dan Evans completed a perfect weekend at the Battle of the Brits with a victory against Kyle Edmund in the final of the competition.

Current British number 1, Dan Evans was almost flawless during the Battle of the Brits. He kicked-off the competition with two victories in straight sets in the group stage and added another in three to complete the round-robin stage undefeated.
In the semifinals, he faced former world number 1, Andy Murray. Evans showed his great qualities once again when he performed a perfect comeback after losing the first set 1-6. In the final, he faced Kyle Edmund who also didn't lose during the whole week.
However, the winner could be only one. Evans showed that he wants the trophy already in the first game when he took Edmund's service game. But Edmund quickly broke him back and had a 2-1 40-15 lead with two breakpoints. Since that moment, it was almost a one-man show.
Evans has won the first set 6-3 but he lost his first service game in the second set again. That didn't stop him from breaking his opponent again. He did that another 2 times to win the match 6-3, 6-2 and win the Battle of the Brits.
